Applications

We are currently accepting applications for the summer of 2008.  Please complete an application.

The following documents must be provided upon completion of the application process as well as the tryout:
    -  Copy of driver's license
    -  Original Social Security Card (birth certificate not acceptable)
    -  CPR certification
    -  Physical from a Doctor before opening day!!!!!
    -  Worker's Permit (if you are under 18 years of age.  This may be obtained by your Guidance Dept. of your school)

Tryout Dates:    (attendance is required at one tryout date only)
March 9, 2008* (daylight savings)
March 16, 2008
March 30, 2008

Testing includes all of the following:

• 200m Soft Sand Sprint

• 1 mile beach run

• 200 yard Pool swim

• Rescue simulations

• Strength Testing

All tryouts will begin at the Dewey Beach Lifesaving Station at 11:30 AM SHARP!  They will then proceed to the Sussex Family YMCA for the remaining portions of the tryout.
