Subject: Rescue on Dewey Beach at Swedes Street
Dear Pat Wright,
I am writing this letter to commend the excellent work that your Dewey Beach Patrol rendered for our daughter on July 29th on Swedes Street beach. She was hit by a wave and injured her neck. If it wasn't for the excellent training and care that she received from Bethany Kazaba, Francis Colbert, Mike Utley and John Cristaldi, I don't know what we would have done.
We would appreciate that they are recognized at one of your council meetings for saving our daughter, Ashley.
We would also like to thank the police and paramedics who helped at this time. And time was what mattered. She was flown to Jefferson University in Philadelphia, out of Beebe Hospital.
We are grateful for a job well done by all but especially the four lifeguards mentioned above in this letter.
Respectfully yours,
M. & Mrs. David Murray
